"Person Flower" - In 2019 I painted a series of oil painting portraits of local Boston artists I knew. In 2021 I started painting over them while still keeping original elements from the paintings. In this case I love the face I painted but thought it would be more whimsical if it were coming out from a flower rather than a human body. I always feel flowers do have so much personality, maybe part of that is being named after a flower myself.
