I’m Dahlia Raz.

I am a visual artist based in New York. I create funky surreal art inspired by nature, animals, mushrooms, and plants.

I call my art style Surreal Imperfectionism. Through my art I hope to inspire joy and whimsy.

I also create art inspired by my Jewish, Israeli-American heritage and culture.

I create art in a few mediums.

Paintings- I create paintings on canvases. Everything from 2020-2023 is made using primarily acrylic paint with some pieces using oil paint and mixed media. Everything from 2024 onward is made using all natural acrylic alternative paint.

Murals - my murals are made using high quality durable wall paint and durable paint markers. Materials suitable for indoor and outdoor purposes.

Digital Art - My cat collection and other pieces are created using digital Illustration in Procreate.

 

Fashion- I design clothes and paint on clothes. Combining my love of art and fashion I have designed collections like what you see on my site and I have created one of a kind pieces of art clothes.
